A quiet and relaxing afternoon at this beaver lake. This photo was taking while standing on the beaver dam which holds back the water that killed all the trees. I waited as I watched the setting sun paint the beautiful pink colors in the sky. Mt. Van Hoevenburg can be see on the left hand side of this photo.

This is the entry road to the old Botany Bay plantation on Edisto Island in South Carolina. I took this photograph as I was leaving the island after an early morning photographing sunrise on the beach. The air was still thick and humid after the early morning clouds had started to clear off.
